Mangalore, Nov 8: ‘Movanche Male’, poetry collections by Yashawanth DS (Issac D’Souza) was released here at Mother of God church premises in Shakthinagar on Sunday November 4.
The book was released by Manu Bahrain, a prominent writer.
Dolphy Cascia, Mahesh R Nayak, Fr Jayaprakash D’Souza, Fr Eugine D’Silva, Fr Lester D’Souza, Jeevan Rodrigues, Cyril Machado, Pius Pereira and Arun D’Souza were guests of honor.
On the occasion, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy honored Yashawanth DS for his contribution to Konkani literature. The honor was bestowed by Mahesh Nayak, member of Karnataka Konkani sahitiya Academy
Yashawanth DS welcomed the gathering, Praveen Sequeira compered while Dimple Kishore delivered the vote of thanks.
