Golden Jubilee Celebration of Mangalore Christian Council on Nov 15

Mangalore, Nov 10: The Mangalore Christian Council (MCC) will celebrate its golden jubilee at Bishop Jathanna auditorium here on Thursday November 15, said Fr John Baptist Saldanha, secretary of MCC.

Addressing a press meet here on Saturday November 10, he said that on this occasion of golden jubilee celebration of MCC, pioneers like late Fr Agnoletto, V T Cherian, Solomon Joshua, Bishop S R Furtado, Bishop Basil D’Souza, Fr Fred Pereira, Harsha Jathanna, Denzil Karkada, O S Neethi, Godwin Weltha and many others who worked silently for the cause of unity and harmony in society will be remembered.

The book ‘A Brief History of MCC’ will also be released, he added.

Sandeep Theophil, member and PRO, KACES Institutions; Rohan Shiri, member and Proprietor, Ashiba Enterprises; FM Lobo, treasurer; Dr Hannibral Cabral, member and principal of Karnataka Theological College among others were present.

    It is a great joy to see Fr J.B.Saldanha, the Secretary of M.C.C. and his team addressing the Press Meet.
