Mangalore, Nov 20: In a tragic road accident, a bike plying from Bajpe to Kuppepadav skid off the road, resulting in the immediate death of the pillion rider while the bike rider is said to critical.
The incident took place near Ilijaar in Narlapadav, Bajpe on Sunday November 18 night.
The deceased has been identified as Anil Rosario (27), son of Leo and Lucy Rosario, who was working at Suzlon company.
Vinod Saldanha (30), resident of Kuppepadav is said to be critical and is admitted to a hospital nearby.
The accident occured when the duo were returning to Kuppepadav, when their bike skid off the road and they hit the road head first. They were immediately rushed to the hospital, but Anil died on the way.
A case has been registered at the Bajpe police station.
