Melwyn Peris to Present Musical Nites in Mumbai

Mangalore, Nov 21: Popular Konkani singer-composer Melwyn Peris, known as 'Yodelling King' will be performing in Mumbai at various places along with his troupe. Three nites have been scheduled from January 26, 2013 to February 3, 2013.

It may be recalled that Melwyn Peris had met with an accident in Bangalore recently and is now recovering fast.

"Thank God, and thanks to the prayers of my well-wishers worldwide, I am recovering so fast that I am confident of coming back with a bang, with a few musical nites in Mumbai this January," said Melwyn Peris to daijiworld while disclosing details of his Mumbai tour.

The first show will be held at Vasai on January 26, 2013 in the evening. The show will be organized by Konkani Welfare Association.

The second show will be held at Pallotti Church ground Marol on January 27, 2013 in the evening.

The third show is scheduled for February 3, 2013 and will be held at St. Joseph’s Church Grounds Meera Road in the evening by the Reach Group.

Melwyn Peris will be accompanied by popular Konkani artistes like Joel Pereira and Roshan D’Souza (music directors), Anitha and other popular singers. Jerry Rasquinha and Duje Pinto will present comedy acts. The troupe which will also consist of dance artistes, is all set to provide entertaining shows packed songs, music, dance and comedy.
