Udupi, Nov 22: Talented singer-composer Ajith D’Souza released his third Konkani music album 'Tujhe Vengenth... Feel the Sensation' at a programme held here on Wednesday November 21.

Fr Sunil, parish priest of St Peter’s Church Petri – Udupi diocese and Fr Valerian D’Souza, parish priest of St Patrick Church, Siddakatte released the album. Fr Naveen Pinto, assistant director of the Pastoral Council of Mangalore diocese, Deacon Maxim Dias and singer Jane Usha Baretto were present on the occasion. Praveen Cutinha of Siddadakatte compered the program.

Almost a year back, Ajith Peter D’Souza, a young and sensational composer had set new milestone in the Konkani music arena with his second music album 'Ye Laagim' which was declared an instant hit. As unique as the songs in the album, was the way it was released. It was released in 8 parishes on the same day and at the same time. It sold like hot cakes all over the Konkani region. The album included hit numbers like Ye Laagim, Chandne Fulthana, Ye Tu Laagim, Ye Pori, Kalzanth Yethai and Kazari Sakramenth which are being played by DJs all over.

The music for all the three albums of Ajith is given by none other than the ace Konkani music director Roshan D’Souza, along with Sangeeth Guru Joel Pereira. Like his previous album, Ajith has tried a blend of western compositions along with the traditional Konkani styles. The album is aimed to appeal to people of all age groups. 'Tujhe Vengenth' also includes a never-before track in Konkani ‘Whistle Maar’, a Konkani item number sung by Munita Veigas featuring Melwyn Antony. This track is sure to get mind blowing responses from Konkani music lovers. Ajith has tried to give the Bollywood item number feel into Konkani music. This is something one should definitely look forward to!

Other lovely tracks include ‘Moga Pavs’ sung by the young Konkani sensation Prajoth D’sa, ‘Tujhe Vengenth’ sung by Roshan, the music director himself, ‘Tu Ye’ sung by Joel Rebello, ‘Kaliz Mujhe’ sung by Ajith and Jane, ‘Yore Yore’ by Meera Crasta, ‘Vollu Ye’ by Anitha D’Souza, ‘Tujhech Khathir’ by Ivy and Dr Prashanth, ‘Munshya Jine’ by Dr Prashanth and ‘Ani Thodo Vel’ by Malayalam singer Varsha Gopinath.

‘Hathaanth Ghevun Haath’, a melodious duet from Ajith’s debut album ‘Tuzo Sangaath’ has been re-created this time with a new musical touch sung by the melodious and promising young duo Prajoth D’Sa and Joshal D’Souza.

Lyricists like Wilson Kateel, Wilfred Pangla, Joel Attur, Irene D’Souza, Antony Cony and Ajith himself have penned these tracks.

Ajith has also produced this album and Antony Cony, Godwin Castelino and Linet Menezes have supported him in his venture as prime co-sponsors.

The audio of the album was recorded at CAD Media Mangalore by Shinoy Joseph and mixed by Nithin Kootungal, Calicut.

The cover has been creatively designed by Avinash Roche at Zion Digitals, Santhekatte. Daijiworld is the media partner for the album.

The promos of “Tujhe Vengenth” have already set the expectations of people high and created a tremendous hype among the audience. The album has already hit the shelves in Mangalore and Dubai and is expected to release in other countries soon.
