What is now being inaugurated is the bus depot as a shelter for the buses which otherwise were being run right upto Kundapur, as also providing a diesel pump. From the public benefit point of view, what is essential is a BUS STAND for passengers. The present so called Govt. Bus stand is very inadequate and congested. I have also been informed that KSRTC has acquired land for the Bus stand at Bannanje/Old D C office and near the Bannanje temple. There is no mention of the project for bus stand although the land was acquired over 2 years ago.

"Good Job" indeed from Govt. of Karnataka and thanks to people strived hard. Could make out from the above pictures that tarmac or concrete is not laid on the yard, hope this work is also included in the agenda. This job is essential, to get relief from dust during off rain season and mud water during rainy season for both passengers and the KSRTC staff working in the yard. This will also make the yard maintenance staff's work eazy and thus contribute to protect our environment.
