Media Release

Bangalore, Nov 24 : ‘Publishing Newspapers and magazines are no longer the privilege of a few vested interests. The cost effective web medium has opened the flood gates to the information and today there is no need to go to the library to get any information. With a few clicks on our computer, you are able to get to the information you need. We the people should utilise the benefits of such a powerful media to get to put forward the truth and realities before the public. Today’s youngsters could use this media to develop interests in literature’ told Dr H S RaghavendraRao dedicating the e magazine to the world.

The program was organised at Kannada Sahitya Parishath auditorium in Bangalore recently.

Dhwanionline.com is the new literary e-journal published by Dhwani Prathisthana, UAE, pioneers of cultural and literary activities in Kannada in UAE. Which is edited by Mr Prakash Rao Payaar.

Senior stage artiste H G Somashekhar Rao presided over the function. Speaking on the occasion he wished that quality articles be available to the readers all over the world through this E-journal  dedicated to Kannada Literature and theatre.

Eminent Poet B R Lakshmana Rao, Karnataka State Music and Dance Academy President  Vaijayanthi Kashi and  Sudarshan Hegde were the chief guests and they praised the efforts of Dhwani Prathisthana. Past president of Nataka academy Sreenivasa  Kappanna welcomed the gathering and also explained the efforts in detail.
