Dubai : Lourdes Kanajar Set to Host Annual Tourney on Dec 2

Dubai, Nov 25 : Lourdes Kanajar Association Emirates (LKAE) is all set to host its 9th annual volleyball and throwball tournaments on December 2 at Sharjah Wanderers Club, as previously announced.

Due to public demand, this year organizers have included men's throwball tournament which will be an added attraction, and interestingly, a proof of the growing trend in UAE’s throwball fraternity.

The fixtures:







The day-long event will be a fun-filled family extravaganza with lots of entertainment and raffle draw, apart from distribution of trophies soon after the finale. Besides three main trophies, there will also be individual trophies and certificates that shall be given to outstanding performers.

    I agree with you. Sorry for unclear message. I am not saying that net hieght was lower in LAKE Tournament. It was low in earlier 2 tournaments conducted by other organisations in this year. This is not comment it is only the suggestion to LAKE.

    Men throwball net need to be ½'higher than ladies one. what we see in sharjah ground even ladies throwball net s to less than 7'. Looking at the current scenario very soon ladies throwball will vanish as more importance and interest is given for gents game. Good luck to all teams, let the best win

    I agree with V. DSouza, Sharjah. For men's throwball the net height must be at least 7ft height. As per throwball federation of India, the net height must be 2.3mts.=7.55ft. For more info. check this site... http://www.throwball.co.in/rules.html .

    Best of Luck All members. Everyone know that your event is always well organised & successful. If it possible, please increase the net hieght of Gents Throwball. In last tournament the net hieght for ladies tournament & gents tournament was same. Thanks in advance.
