Udupi: Fakebook - Woman Claims Bogus FB Account Opened in her Name

Udupi, Nov 28: Facebook travails never seem to end. In yet another case, a woman has alleged that an unknown person opened a fake Facebook account in her name, using her identity and photograph.
Mamatha Kini in her complaint stated that her actual account is in Kannada but a mischief monger opened a fake account in English and used her name and photograph in it.
She alleged that the person has sent friend requests from her account and even uploaded obscene pictures.
"I had complained to Facebook regarding this and thus the account was closed. But, later again some miscreant opened a fake account and is misusing it in my name," she said.
A case is registered at city police station.
