Dubai: NITK to Host Global Alumni Convention on January 25

Dubai, Nov 28:
The 8th Global Convention of National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK ) alumni association and the first Global Convention of NITK alumni outside India will be held at United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday January 25, 2013.

The venue for the NITK Global Alumni Convention will be at Atlantis The Palm, Dubai.

NITK alumni has a global presence with a tally of more than 18,000 alumni members including 2,000 entrepreneurs and 8,000 IT professionals spread over all parts of India, Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, North America and Australia.

The UAE chapter of NITK alumni association which has more than 150 registered alumni members will be hosting the 8th Global Alumni Convention in Dubai.

Various sessions for a large number of participating alumni members from all over the world will be held during the day-long convention.

NITK, one of the 30 National Institutes of Technology in India and recognized as an Institute of national importance, formerly known as Karnataka Regional Engineering College (KREC), was founded in 1960. It celebrated its golden jubilee in 2010. NITK is ranked as the best among all the NITs in India and the 8th Top Engineering College (in 2012 by India Today).

    Wish we could take up philanthropical activities as a part of our contribution to the society in addition to the other program's we undertake at the Alumini meet and also help our juniors by establishing a placement wing , Which can help to provide job opportunities to the one in requirement .
