Indeed, heavy rains are a pleasant surprise in Dubai and adjoining areas. While the people may enjoy showers, municipal authorities in all likelihood are continuing to grapple with stormwater management. It's time the Emirates readied themselves for the climate change.

Drivers, please take extra care as conditions get hazardous.
Parents, please take care of your children playing outside as some manholes could be left unmanned.

Rain anywhere in the world is good if it rains in some limit. It also makes inconvenience to the people who never expected a rain as it so happened today as so many families with small kids were stuck in the middle, nor were able to take a deviation.Traffic on the Al-Ittihad road towards jebel-ali near the Al-Gharoud under pass was very bad.

So very soon countries like our's will become deserts, and countries like UAE and others will become lush green, with forests and fields.
Soon our rivers will dry out and they will have rivers. Soon we will have sea water treatment plants for drinking water and they will have rivers and wells providing drinking water.
Soon we will start exporting dates & perhaps soon we will be selling oil just like them. And soon someday we will have a influx of Arabs coming here for work. Reverse osmosis
