Mangalore: Scrap Shop Catches Fire at Thokottu - Loss Worth Rs 5 Lac

Mangalore, Dec 1: A scrap shop was set ablaze near the checkpost in Thokottu around 11:45 pm on Friday November 30.
 
The reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained. Sources close to Daijiworld said that the fire broke out due to a short circuit.
 



































The scrap shop was completely gutted in the fire and a loss of Rs 5 lac has been estimated.
 
The fire brigade rushed to the spot and with the help of locals they tried to extinguish the fire.
 
The adjoining Bhagavathi hardware shop was also partially affected in the fire, however only minor losses were incurred.

A case has been registered at the Ullal police station.
