Infrastructure should be improved. If our infrastructure is improved by atleast 30% we will surely be way ahead of US Europe Germany and so on. Infrastructure is the victim of corruption.

    Surely, Mr. Nageshji
India is best place surely for living in the world where you can grease the palms of the police, other authorities and even the politicians if you commit any fault/ crime or even killing.
Our infrastructure is so good that at every monsoon we get potholes on the roads, bridges etc.
And every year we have the same contractors being awarded the contracts for doing up these roads again and again.
If only we could get rid of corruption... thats the point you forgot to mention, Mr. Nagesh

    hi, Lawrence Saldanha, Kanajar/Kuwait,

NOBODY KNOWS THE EXACT PLACE OF PARKING OF A VEHICLE. IT MAY BE ON RIGHT PLACE i.e. EXTREME SIDE OF THE ROAD. WHOEVER PARKED VEHICLE ON THE MIDDLE OF THE ROAD IS WRONG.

INDIA IS BEST COUNTRY TO LIVE IN THE WORLD .

WHEN YOU ARE COMPARING INDIA WITH US, EUROPE ETC... YOU SHOULD TAKE INTO ACOUNT OF POPULATION ALSO.

POPULATION OF EACH COUNTRY IN EUROPE IS EQUAL TO OUR ONE STATE LIKE GERMANY, SPAIN,FRANCE , SWITZERLAND ARE EQUAL TO KARANTAKA,TN,AP,KERALA ETC...

INDIA IS LARGEST DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY WITH MULTI LINGUISTIC , MULTI RELIGIONS, CASTE,CREED ETC...

    LOVE INDIA .

    Dear Nageshji,

All your points are very well relevant but you have no word to the driver who left his vehicle on the narrow road without parking lights or any indication. That is the poor administration from the Transport Ministry which allows majority of vehicles to violate minimum fitness of vehicles to be on the road. With 100% alertness, a driver cannot drive the vehicle on the road. In fact in the US and Europe, there is heavy traffic fine for petty violation and that's why vehicle owners/drivers are more cautious about the fitness of their vehicles.

    Nagesh Nayakji:
    If I may add...
    13) Think of Wife but never of Beloved 'Past or Present'.Thinking of Wife makes you cautious, beloved takes you into a trance. Statistics and some studies prove this...
Very good points. Must be made into a booklet and presented to RTO's.Keep it up...!

    VERY VERY SAD NEWS.

A YOUNG MAN LOST HIS LIFE .

THIS IS MY ADVICE TO TRAVELLERS :

    1. AVOID NIGHT TRAVELLING IF YOU ARE NOT AN PROFESIONAL DRIVER.

    2. TRAVEL DURING DAY TIME IF YOU ARE DRIVING OCCASSIONALLY.

    3. ALWAYS LOOK AT THE VEHICLES PARKED FROM LONG DISTANCE .

    4. SLOWDOWN TO ZERO IN THE CURVES.

    5. TIMINGS OF 3 AM TO 5 AM ARE SLEEPY & TAKE A REST DURING THIS TIME IN YOUR VEHICLES ITSELF.

    6. GENERAL CHECK UP OF THE VEHICLE IS A MUST BEFORE GOING TO LONG JOURNEY .

7.UTMOST CARE SHOULD TAKE REGARDING GEAR OIL, BRAKE OIL, ENGINE OIL, WIPERS,TYRE CONDITION, WHEEL ALIGNMENT .

    8. FILL THE FUEL FULL TANK.

    9. TAKE DRINKING WATER , BISCUITS, FRUITS TO EAT.

    10. AVOID DRINKING ALCHOHOL.

    11. UNDERSTAND THE ROAD CONDITION BEFORE TRAVELLING.

    12. LAST BUT NOT LEAST CONCENTRATE ONLY IN DRIVING & FORGET TENSIONS.

99% of accidents are due to human error.

Chanarayapatana approach road is the 'SPOT' where many accidents take place! Think the place is 'Shettrahalli' if I remember the name of the place correctly.
Almost had a fatal accident there once and the time is usually between 3 n 3.30a.m- Think there's something in this spot-
    Very tragic incident indeed....

Tragedy struck without any notice that too it struck days before the wedlock means just imagine the pain of both families. Oh God like we pray you to give eternal peace for deceased soul of all, can you please open the door of wisdom of our Political Leaders to make strict “Accident Law” to control our wild Drivers pls? Hope Maurice Mendonca’s family receives whole hearted condolences even though he was noticed with BJP’s minority Morcha.
