Mangalore: Yeddy's KJP Prepares to Spread Wings in Dakshina Kannada

Daijiworld Media Network – Mangalore (VM)

Mangalore, Dec 5: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa's Karnataka Janata Party (KJP) is gearing up to establish itself in Dakshina Kannada, which incidentally is a bastion of Yeddyurappa's former political parent BJP.

KJP will shortly organize a district convention to woo voters as well as new members. A preparatory meet in this regard was held at Sahodaya hall here on Tuesday December 4.

"The Karnataka Janata Party convention scheduled to be held in Haveri on December 9, will bring about a paradigm shift in politics," said Jagadish Hiremani, state committee member of KJP during the meet.

"Many people say that the world will end on December 21, but it won't. Instead, political parties in the state will end on December 9 when KJP comes into force," said Hiremani.

"During Yeddyurappa’s three-and-a-half year rule, Karnataka state was ranked first in terms of development. But for all his contribution, he was cheated by the party. An attempt will be made to bring about KJP rule in the district, where BJP supporters are the highest," he said.

On the occasion, Ravindra Shetty, Ibrahim Sajipa, George D’Souza, Venugopal Shetty, Deviprasad, Asif Ullal among others joined the party.

Ramachandra Baikampady, Mariamma Thomas, Azeez Baikampady, Srinivas Shetty, Narayan Bhat, Ananth Prabhu who have also joined the party were present.

It is learnt that Ramachandra Baikampady, member of National Fishermen’s Forum has submitted his resignation to BJP. The resignation letter has been submitted to state president through the district BJP president.

ISMAIL.K.PERINJE, PERINJE-YANBU/KSA dont sit and dream. The people who joined KJP now from mangalore are already been rejected by BJP since so many years and few of them who joined were not active members of BJP. So it wont effect BJP votes in our districts for sure. And shame on your congress who know that they cant win elections on their own and always waiting for the split of votes from other political parties.

Even though I do not subscribe Muslim league, did they ever passed comments against majority community?Did they hate their fellow citizens for the sake of politics?Muslim league is just a political party safeguarding interest/rights of Daliths/Muslims and other OBCs

About MIM,I have no concrete idea but,yes also working towards haves not,Daliths and OBCs.On the other hand BJP takes breathing by dividing citizens on the basis of religion/community caste, creed and it's capital is anti-minority!

Dear friends, BJP, a national political party finds itself in the docks and is heading for the same fate as it faced in UP. In the next elections, it is highly likely that Congress will by default emerge as the winner despite the tainted image of majority of its leaders and the one man owned Deve Gowda & Sons Co. will be second with BSY & Sons Co. (KJP) a poor third. BJP will decimate to 4th position. My sincere advice to Congress Party is that it is high time to overhaul its rotten top brass and infuse young blood (between 30 & 60) into the party to resurrect the party with a new image. What is also significantly noticeable is that a lot of hate campaign against Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi and Manmohan Singh which was going on on social media has subsided admitting the fact that political battles are won by administrative competence and not by negative campaign. A large majority of Indian voters are now literate and mature and they are able to differentiate between personalized hate campaign and administrative competence, which will be evident in future elections. Whenever and wherever BJP indulged in hate campaign, they have paid heavy price, which BJP leaders and their sympathizers should realize now. I do not represent any political party but my advise to both BJP and Congress, the 2 major national parties not to indulge in personalized hate campaign or encourage corrupt and rowdy politicians in their parties. Finally, everyone should understand that as long as Sonia Gandhi is a naturalized citizen of full honor, having gluing effect on the congress party administration and is clean in legal point of view nothing on earth can disqualify her. Advaniji, Sushmaji and many other BJP leaders tried to malign her in the part with harshest words but they could they could nothing to dislodge her from the power she inherited. Ordinary citizens of India like me who live with reality have nothing to do with her origin. Jai Bharath Matha
