Nowadays its quite common accidents like vehicles topples, moves tops-turvey, collide each other, rams into dividers etc. Its all happens because of rash and drunken driving. The persons who are on drivers seat drive their vehicles without following road discipline. Thats why all such incidents takes place causing damage to public property and valuable human lives are lost.

Mr. Jerry Moras, it's Unfortunate that some Indian's blame their home country, There was a saying by one of my teacher in 3rd standard "when you point one finger at others, the remaining four points at you". You cannot compare a country like India to Canada, US or European union, It's a foolish Comparison by some of our so called "Educated Indian's". The facts you need to compare between the two, the population, geography, etc., For your Information, India is not just a country. it's a union of states having different state languages,In these states people talk hundreds of languages, Still we are united,This is what you don't find anywhere in this world. Be proud of these things. Talking against country sitting outside somewhere like a "Alien", please do not hurt the sentiments of the people.

The driver wanted to buy something from the Sandeep Arts shop. He thought it was a " drive in " shop, like having a dosa in Woodlands Hotel on Bunts Hostel Road. The driver must have got a rude shock.

It happens only in India. In US whether the driver is at fault or not but he has to go through the law and the law decides who is at fault. In this case there was no casualties except for property damage. Brijesh Garodi your pictures prove the impact of the accident.

Rash Driving Is common in Mangalore.Pumpwell side is a busy n dangerous road where majority of accidents happen due to free overtaking on any side .If things are to stop the pumpwell area needs dividers to seperate the traffic on both sides thus reducing accidents and it wil end risking lives of pedestrians and shops located along roadside from vehicles ramming into them.

Why no case? That means you can hit any shop or hit anybody and pay for damages and go? Very liberal traffic laws in Mangalore and hence number of accidents are increasing day by day. Impose hefty fines and then see the difference. But all our comments go to deaf ears. Hope RTO will get up from the sleep or somebody will bang into RTO office to wake them up.

Question : Does shop owner or car has no insurance ? Why negotiate between and get settlement. Is it true that insurance companies get does get involved in such activities ? I'm sorry, I never owned a car in India nor have idea how it works. It's a risk common people often take. I hear sometimes, any vehicle kiling peopele in Mangalore Just like few days back Palguni bus killed one young person. Who pays to the victim? Here in Canada, regardless of what car I drive, need to have insurance for $ 1 million This is just because of the risk factor. Hope such rules exists in Mangalore/India so that pedesdrian and drivers do see hazards around.
