UAE, Canada Hold Talks


Ottawa, Dec 8 (IANS/WAM): Top officials of the UAE and Canada have met here in Ottawa as well as in Ajman to discuss bilateral ties.

The UAE's Ambassador to Canada Mohammed saif Hilal Al Shehhi met the Speaker of Canada's Senate Noel Knisla, and discussed parliamentary relations.

Meanwhile, Ajman ruler Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi met Canadian Ambassador to the UAE Arif Lalani and Canadian Consul General in Dubai, Ross Miller.

The ruler welcomed the two diplomats and wished them good luck in their missions.

They also discussed bilateral relations and ways to boost them.
