Udupi: Police Force Demonstrates its Might on Completion of 150 Years

Udupi, Dec 9: To mark the completion of 150 years of police department in India, Udupi district police organized a public awareness programme at Milagres Institutional Campus here on Saturday December 8. A programme on police duty and responsibility in society was also held on the occasion.
As many as 4,000 students of Milagres Educational Institution students witnessed the police dog show, demonstration on how to catch culprits and detection of explosion items in VIP functions, murder case etc.
The dog show delighted the spectators as police dogs showed excellent skills in obeying their masters.
Udupi fire service team gave a presentation of how situation is brought under control during fire accidents and rescue operations.
Students enjoyed the dog show, circus and water show in the afternoon.
