Congrats Mandd Sobhann for your wonderful presentation. Photographs in DW have come out well. A observation/suggestion though. It would have been helpful to know the people in those photographs had there been a subtitling of their names under each one of them. Wish all the winners all the best for future too.

Nowadays lot of Konkani cultural activities are being heard in and around Mangalore under the ageis of various Konkani oranisations which is most welcome.
I wish to state in this platforum that apart from celebration of various happy accasions there is a great necessity of addressing problem issues concerning Konkanis of various religions in the state. Then only the real purpose of Konkani organisations will be meaningful.
In this back I wish to draw he attention of various Konkani organisations and also State appex body of Konkani to the incidentt that was happened last month at 'Sadbhavana,Rajajinagar where in Konkani speaking RCs where obstructed by the Kannada speaking catholics to perform the Sunday prayer service in Konkani.Similar incident happed twice last month and may happen in future also. The issue has saddened so many citizens not only Konkani speakers. This is a direct attack on once fundamental right enshrined by the constitution. The news was flashed in DW and there were lot of comments condemning thee heinous incident. If this is the case for Konkani language which is reconsied language in the 8th schedule of the contitution, what is the guarantee that similar incident does not accur for other too who speak othe languages of the state like Kodava,Tulu etc.
I am deeply pained that the issue has not received the due attention from Konkani organisations as it deserves. This is only a request to all Konkani organisations with a request to take up th issue with state Government see that such incident is prevented in future permanently and Konkani RCs are allowed to perform their religios paryers in their monther tongue Konkani unhindered.I am keen to hear views of readers in the matter.
