Myriad Colours Adorn Dharmasthala on Lakshadeepotsava Celebration

Beltangady, Dec 11: As part of Lakshadeepotsava celebration, a colourful variety entertainment event was held at Amrutha auditorium in Dharmasthala here Monday December 10.

A myriad array of colours swept the stage as various teams displayed their skills in music and dance. Vibrant decors of art added more charm.

Various entertainment programmes like a musical by Platform Productions, Mangalore, dance drama by Sukanya S Bhat and team from Maharashtra Radhakrishna dance academy, and group dance by Kolya Natyanikethan Vidhushi Rajashree and team entertained the audience.

The event was ably compered by Sahil Zaheer in his usual witty style.

The entire premises of Shree Kshetra Dharmasthala has been decked with attractive lights as part of the celebration. 


All-religion Conference

An all-religion conference will be held at Amrutha auditorium on December 11.

Justice N Santhosh Heggade, retired Lokayuktha will be inaugurating the conference while Dr Prasanna Venkatacharya Chaturvedi Swamiji of Sri Ramaanujam Mission trust will preside over the function.

Fr PK Jacob from Dharwad, professor BK Nyama Gowda of Belgaum, Abdul Salam Puttige of Mangalore will deliver the lecture.

As part of the entertainment programme, Pramod Alva, who represented Mangalore in India’s got Talent will show his dance variety; group dance by Chandrashekar Navada and team, Haleangady; group dance by Nrithyabharathi Geetha Saralaya team, Mangalore; Bharathanatyam by Jnana Ithal and also Bharathanatyam by Ankita Rao from Dharwad will be held on Tuesday December 11.
