Mangalore: Man Accused of Hacking Travel Agency Email Arrested

Mangalore, Dec 17: Mangalore police have arrested the prime accused in connection with the hacking of Fourwings travel agency’s email in 2010.
The arrested is Rahim alias Bombay Rahim (52), a native of Mavelikar in Kerala.
In 2010, the email account belonging to Fourwings travel agency was hacked and three Kingfisher airline tickets were sold.
A case was registered in Bunder police station under cheating and IT Act.
The three persons who were ready to travel with the sold tickets were arrested on the same day. They were unaware that Rahim had got the tickets by dubious means.
Rahim had been absconding ever since. However, the police now managed to trace his whereabouts and arrested him.
He was produced in the court and remanded in judicial custody.
