Fujairah, Dec 17 : With great joy and happy festive mood the Mangaloreans in Fujairah celebrated Christmas on Friday, 14 December 2012. The celebration was held at the Galaxy ballroom of City Tower hotel, under the banner of Canara Catholics Fujairah.
After the welcome speech by Lancy Dantis the President of CCF the congregation joined the choir in singing, melodious Christmas carols both in Konkani and English.
Fr. Franklin D’Souza was the guest for the day. In his beautiful Christmas message, Fr. Franklin emphasized on love and peace in one’s family, parish and community.
The little children enjoyed dancing with their favorite Santa and received gifts and sweets from him. The children also entertained the crowd by presenting beautiful dances. DJ Roy played melodious Christmas numbers.
The programme was ably conducted by Melvin Vas.
