Karkala: Karate Champ Nivita from Belman Shines at National Level

Karkala, Dec 20: Multi-talented youngster Nivita Dionna Cardoza, a student of 8th standard at Laxmi Janardana CBSE High School, has made her hometown proud.

A Black Belt in Karate, she won the gold medal in Kumite, silver medal in Kata in individual category and bronze in group Kata at the national-level Karate competition held recently at Talkatora Indoor Stadium, Delhi.

With this, she has been selected to compete next in Dubai. She was trained by Satish Belman, her teacher and revered guru throughout. The match sponsor was Raghu Shetty Mulladka, Mundkur.

Nivita is the daughter of Norbert John Cardoza and Triza Cardoza of Kodimar, Belman.

A genius by nature, Nivita stands ahead in every field, being exceptionally good in studies, playing the keyboard, as a singer and dancer gifted with artistic talents. She has been securing prizes at various competitions held at Kundapur, Haveri, Moodbidri etc.
