Mangalore : Countdown Begins for Glorious 250th Wilfy Nite

Mangalore, Dec 21 : The historic 250th Wilfy Nite organized by United Younsters, an association founded by late Wilfy Rebimbus, will be presented on Sunday December 23 at the TMA Pai Auditorium.
The event will start at 5.30 pm.

The nite will include memorable hit songs of Wilfy Rebimbus along with new songs penned and compised by Veena and Vishwas Rebimbus.
Babitha D'Sa, an integral part in several of Wilfy's musical nites will be back on stage after a gap of several years. She has not performed in public shows for many years. Her comeback is expected to cheer the Konkani music lovers of Mangalore.
Konkani Maina Meena Rebimbus will lead the troupe, along with veteran Prem Kumar, Ivan Sequiera, Babitha D'Sa, Claud D'Souza, Babitha Pinto, Munita Veigas, Prajoth and Shalon.
As usual, Konkani's ace compere Leslie Rego will be the master of ceremony.
The music will be directed by popular Pappan along with Jovi and his team.
Dolla and Memori team will entertain the crowd with jokes and skits.
A special attraction will be spectacular dance presentation by sensational Cornel and his team members Elton, Sneha, Sonali and Gavin.
During the stage programme, newly-appointed vicar general of Udupi diocese Fr Baptist Menezes will be the chief guest. Capt Merwin Pinto from Canada, and Leo Rodrigues from Abu Dhabi will be the guests of honour.
As per the tradition of honouring those who have supported Wilfy Nite from years, this time the organisers have chosen to honour four personalities - Ronald Colaco, James Mendonca on behalf of Mangalore Konkans, Dubai, Eddie Sequiera and Walter Nandalike.
Tickets for the show will be available at the usual outlets like Jerosa Company, Favourite Collection, and members of United Youngsters.
