Dubai: 'Jingles' Sings Carols for a Noble Cause, Helps Expat from Mangalore

Media Release

Dubai, Dec 23:
‘Jingles’, a group of around 30 expats in Dubai thought of doing something different for Christmas this year.

Determined to celebrate this year for the needy, they got together with friends and family to go around the town singing Christmas carols and spreading the joy of Christmas to help Sunil Pinto, an AC technician who has been admitted in Rashid Hospital since nine months after he fell from the second floor while at work and slipped into coma.

Sunil is a 28-year-old expat from a poor family in Mangalore who is now slowly and steadily recovering. His current bills are being taken care of by his company; however, he would require extensive and prolonged physiotherapy treatment when he returns to India.

‘Jingles’ went around visiting the homes of around 50 families of members, colleagues and friends who were more than glad to welcome the enthusiastic ‘Jingles’ group were generous enough to pledge their support for Sunil. Dressed in glittering red and white outfits, the group, consisting of members as young as three-year-olds, went around spreading Christmas cheer, spending 15 minutes in each home.

‘Jingles’ raised AED 20,290/- (INR 3,02,384.50) for Sunil and recently presented him the amount.
