It it looks that it is a rich harvest in the vineyard - eleven Jesuits ordained. a gift from the parents to The Lord and to to our community.

I am a proud Aloysian myself and I always feel that if I am what I am today - It is because of the education which I received at the hands of The Jesuit Fathers. - to name a few - Father Joseph Sequeira, Father Bertram Sequeira, Father Ignatius Fernandes, Father Louis Mascarenahs Father George Coelho, Father Mannu Coelho, Father Vincent Pinto and others.

I have vivid memories of Father Ignatius Fernandes who I will always remember as my mentor. He is the one who carved me out of a raw stone and made me realize that if I did well as a scholar - I would continue to well in the wide world. His words rang in my ears all the time which helped to make up my mind not only to study well but also to work hard as a management trainee and later on holding different positions in the company that I worked for. May His Soul Rest in Peace.

I am sure the young priests ordained will continue the traditions of The Jesuits of Sacred memory. and in turn inculcate true values in young people entrusted to their care.

May my Alma Mater do well and help the future generations.

It is good to see that today we have a Provencal - who is going all out to render yeomen services to the community and more particularly to the poor and needy in mission stations like Mungod, Harihar, Bijapur and other areas.

The present generation of young Jesuits have to fulfill their mission of carrying out the traditions of a few Jesuits who landed on The Idgah Hill over one hundred and thirty years ago.
