Considering the volume of traffic and population in the area, it is now essential to install an automated traffic signal at Suratkal Junction. Further there should be a pedestrian bridge for crossing highway in the school/college vicinity. Otherwise such accidents could become a daily occurence in future. Pray and wish speedy recovery to Madam Mayor and others injured in the accident.

Safety wise, AMBASADOR cars are good than any other cars. Traffic departments must bring control over these bulky bus drivrs. There were several death took over by these busses in last year 2012. GOD saved her.

Bad roads are the cause for accidents. In this case I don't know whats the reason? Anyway I wish you speedy recovery. After you recover fully, please see that our roads are got asphalted and repaired wherever necessary. Also costruct footpaths and drains as this work is pending for quite a long time.

...I have saw the accident spot..in this incident we can not target only the Driver of the Bus...the flyover is built without proper plan..the original plan was modified due to pressure from Business class who is having strong connection with central leaders...In the original plan there was service Road..But, now it is provided in only one side...there is no signals...we can not walk or even crossing the main road also very dangerous...Now,Mayor might have experienced what common man in suratkal facing..i wish her speedy recovery...

Hope the concerned authorities will wake up and implement this type of training to the drivers. Our drivers lack proper training. In UAE the drivers are given proper training.

    Dear All,

My sympathies. I pray & wish for her speedy revocovery. Surely our God will help her to come out of this situation. As many of have expressed their concern about the driver, well, bit surprise to know that he is not in the picture. But my sympathies are with him too and wishing him also a speedy recovery wherever & whichver condition he is in now.I Hope this incident will bring more positive changes in the Mangalore city especially in the Road system, power sector etc. etc. I was very much surprised to see many disagrees for the fair comments. Guys, wake up. We are going to step in 2013. Let us be merciful and show the solidarity so that she would be encouraged at this tough time and able to do many more good things for our city in the future. Many thanks.

God bless our Mayor and God Bless All the Mangaloreans.

We wish speedy recovery dear Maam Saheba. People should be more careful while approaching Suratkal Town below the Over bridge National Highway. Turning point at way to Katipalla is really dangerous since it is very crowded area due to various stalls installed in the vicinity of main road. Road also not widened for Bus Stop below the Bridge so all Buses stops at main road only thus makes difficult for other vehicles coming behind the Buses to pass on. Dear Maam Saheba, I hope that Suratkal too comes under your Mangalore Municipality, so please pay attention to proper Bus Stop to avoid this kind of accidents instead of waiting for Central or State Funds to do so
