Mangalore: Dayanand Kukkaje Wins State-level Photography Contest

Daijiworld's ace photojournalist Dayanand Kukkaje has bagged the first place in the state-level photography contest organized by Sagara Photography Society.
 
He won the award for his photograph clicked at Lumbini Park gardens, Hyderabad in ‘Candid Shots’ category.

Entries were received from as many as 15 districts of the state in the 12th edition of the photography contest. Internationally-acclaimed photographer Nagendra Muttumurudu was part of the jury.

Indrakumar B Dasthanevar, Bagalkote won the first place in the ‘Rural life’ category.
 
With this, Dayanand Kukkaje has won another feather in his brimming cap. In June this year, he was conferred the Best Action Photography Award in a state-level contest at Shimoga. He has exhibited his photographs at Tsunami Photo Exhibition 2005 at Mangalore and Kundapur, Alva's Nudisiri 2006, Puttur Press Club 2010, Sullia Chennakesha Temple 2010, Mangalore Press club 2011, St Aloysius College 2010 and Mangalore Press club 2012.
