Mangalore, Jan 4: Mulky police on Thursday January 3 arrested an aide of underworld don Ravi Poojary in connection with the kidnap bid on Kinnigoli-based real estate businessman Cyprian D'Souza.

The arrested has been identified as Ravi Poojary aide Bharat alias Bharatesh of Mangalore.

Subbu and Bharat

With this, the total number of arrests made in the case has risen to three. On November 22, 2012, police had arrested Chittaranjan alias Chittu, also an aide of Ravi Poojary, and before that Subramanya alias Subbu.

Bharat and Subbu were produced in the court on Thursday.

It may be recalled that in October 2012, a gang of four had attempted to kidnap Cyprian D'Souza by threatening him at gunpoint during daylight hours near his residence in Padmanooru, but failed after Cyprian escaped from their hands.

On the information provided by Subbu during interrogation, Bharath was arrested under the guidance of Mulky circle inspector T Bashir, informed police.

Court has remanded both the accused in police custody. Further investigation are on.

It is suspected that many others are involved in this case and the matter is being investigated.

Congrates to the Police and the investigation authorities.
Now the next task would be to find out who all are involved and motivated them directy or indirectly to do such acts.
How I wish if all these culprits are tied and kept for public display for a month also, so that every one will have a glimpse of these culprits and be careful to associate with them in future, knowingly or unknowings.
