Fire at China Shopping Mall


Beijing, Jan 7 (IANS): A fire broke out Monday at a five-storey shopping mall in China's northeast city of Harbin, Xinhua reported. There were no immediate reports of casualties.

Witnesses said the fire was spotted around 10.20 a.m. at the Guorun Furnishing Mall.

Smoke engulfed the first three storeys, and at least 10 fire-fighting vehicles had arrived at the scene and were working to douse the blaze.
