Kidnapped Pakistani Man Rescued, 12 Held


Islamabad, Jan 7 (IANS): Police in northwest Pakistan's Peshawar city Monday rescued a man who was abducted a few days ago and arrested 12 people for their alleged involvement in the crime.

Police told Geo News the men had abducted Ahmed Gul from Hayatabad, a posh area of the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Acting on a tip-off, police raided the Industrial Estate area and rescued the kidnapped man.

A huge amount of arms and two cars were also seized from the kidnappers.
