Mangalore: P P Hegde's Open Letter to PM Demands Strict Action Against Pakistan

Media Release

Mangalore, Jan 9: City-based advocate P P Hegde, who is also the national president of Youth for Nation, has condemned the brutal killing of Indian soldiers by Pakistani troops at the border and demanded strict action in the matter.

In this regard, an open letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was submitted through Dakshina Kannada deputy commissioner N Prakash here on Wednesday January 9.

Leaders of Mangalore chapter of YFN Ajith Bhopayya, Chandrashekar, Pratheek Ponnana, Sandesh Shetty, Deekshith Shetty, Kavan N S, Suraj Hegde, Sachin R were present.

In the open letter to the PM, P P Hegde on behalf of Youth for Nation states:

"Respected Shri Manmohan Singhji,

We, the citizens of India are very much shocked and upset hearing the news of Pakistani Troops killing, mutilating and beheading two of our brave Soldiers Lance Naik Hemaraj and Lance Naik Sudhakar.

You are fully aware that even as per the official statement of the Indian Army there have been 102 ceasefire violations by Pakistani Troops in the border of J & K since 2010 to April 2012. During the Kargil conflict, Cap. Sowrab Kalia was held captive, tortured and his body was mutilated by Pakistan troops. No action is taken till now.

Every time when Pakistan attacks and kills our brother soldiers and mutilates their bodies, and whenever Pakistan sponsors terrorist attacks and kill our citizens, the reaction of the Indian Government has been to ‘Condemn the incident in strongest terms’. After the brutal murder of two Indian soldiers yesterday, Indian Government has called Pakistani diplomat at New Delhi and expressed Indian Government’s displeasure.

Youth for Nation strongly urges the Government of India as under:

(1) Mere verbal press statements by the Union Government condemning the crimes of Pak will only undermine the morale of our military and the citizenry. This verbal condemnation is proved to be totally useless & ineffective to stop killing of our soldiers and citizens by Pakistanis.

(2) Making peace with enemies and treating Pak as friend is detrimental to the integrity of our country. Stop playing cricket with them in our soil. Stop treating Pakistan as a friendly country.

(3) Countries like U.S.A. and Israel pursue their enemies in foreign lands also – like arresting Saddam from Baghdad and hanging him and lifting Osama Bin Laden from Pakistan and shooting him. India has also the right of self defence which includes the right to punish the murderers of our citizens and army. Change the prevailing Indian Govt’s policy of ‘mere verbal disapproval’ in reacting to the massacres of our soldiers and citizens by Pakistani Army and ISI sponsored terrorist groups. Government should IMMEDIATELY TAKE STRONG RETALIATORY MEASURES to punish Pakistan. It should serve as deterrent to Pak from repeating such crimes.

Hence we request you Sir to immediately take bold decision to punish perpetrators of crimes against our Nation immediately.

Yours Faithfully,

P P Hegde,
Advocate & National Chairman, Youth for Nation."

The real fact is, an old lady from Indian side of Kashmir tried to cross to the Pakistan occupied Kashmir because her sons who were wanted in India had sneaked to the other side and this lady wanted to spend the fag-end of her life with the children. When the Indian Border Security Force realised this, she had already crossed the control line but BSF immediately rushed there to bring her back. Meanwhile the ruthless Baluchi BSF of Pakistan challenged the Indian BSF and there was exchange of fire between them. To our bad luck the Pakistani BSF caught two of our BSF and beheaded them. This was very provocative and uncivilised act and the Pakistan authority should answer for this barbaric act.

15% of our population is of Pak mentality and are waiting for an opportunity to make this country another Pakistan.

Our politicians have made our security forces weak.

Our policeman is abused by his higher up for arresting the traitor for insulting Amar Jawan Jyothi.

Police hesitate to take action against Owaisi.

When a Hindu leader, to protect our Dharma and to counter the traitors, makes a speach, police take action on thier own.

Do not hesitate to call spade-a-spade.

A time will come when the traitiors will be punished by the public as being done to rapists.

this UPA govt., has failed us on the whole. They cannot protect its citizen within the country or outside the country. They cannot take stringent decision against Pakistan. It is very sad this govt., has no feeling for the loss of our soldiers during Mumbai attack where we lost our innocent people and still our country had to give paki the olive branch by allowing the Pakistan Cricket to play in India.

Well done YFN and P P Hegde. Pakistan violates every norm of ceasefire and then denies having done so. We have to condemn this cowardly act of Pakistan and see that Pakistan never resorts to such mischiefs by taking retaliatory measures. How long are we going to offer another another cheek to get slapped even harder from an enemy which has crossed all limits of decency? How many more soldiers of our country are we going to sacrifice for keeping our enemy in good humour? Time we take retaliatory measures. The families of soldiers who lost their lives are the one who will be hit hardest. Hope our country takes necessary action against those responsible for this dastardly act so that the sacrifice of our soldiers doesn't go waste.

We should know that Pak is not ruled only by govt but also by military and ISI which has Taliban elements in it. It is a vested interest by these group to provoke India to react and spoil the relation. Going to war with Pak is not in our national interest nor in Pak's. It will only help Pak military and global military war ware suppliers. We have to exert pressure on Pak govt to act against these elements, and make Pak people to react against these episods which is already happening. It is not possible to wage war and win without cousing ourselves any harm. There are countries waiting to grab this kind of eventuality and help Pak which we should not allow to happen.

India used to take harsh measures against Pakistan during late P.M. Smt. Indira Gandhi's regime.
India fought wars with them and won.
    But hostilities didn't end there!
During Smt. Indira Gandhi's time, India helped Bangladesh to avail freedom from Pak and succeeded.
Pakistan also retaliated and supported Khalistan movement in India.
In the fight to suppress Khalistan
movement in India, Indira Gandhi Lost her life!
    But hostilities are still on.
Same way Rajiv Gandhi also lost his life, for military initiations taken in the interest & safety of Tamils in Srilanka !

May be it is the lenient nature of our Governments has proompted our enemies to take advantage and commit such unscrupulous acts. There is should be stringent action by our defence so that in future no one dares to do something like this. Wish the step will be taken soon. PM and Defence Minister, be practical...Good luck.

It is suggested that Government should IMMEDIATELY TAKE STRONG RETALIATORY MEASURES to punish Pakistan. are you suggesting that we should also slit the throats of Pakistan soldiers or are you suggesting that we should wage war against Pakistan. Someone suggested to write letters to Modiji who'll take appropriate measures: let us know what are those measures. It is easy to suggest but who will take the decision.

Shri. P. P. Hegde, your concern is genuine and has wide acceptance from people of India.
We really can't understand, inspite of Pak sponsoring terrorism and circulating counterfeit currency in our country, our national policy towards PAK didn't change.
Not only during current UPA regime but during past NDA's regime also, no significant changes made in the Policy matters.

Mere verbal condemnation doesn't make any impact on those sponsors of terrorism. The Pak army is a combination of officially recruited soldiers and hardcore terrorists trained by extremist outfits. Both go hand in hand. Their so-called action against terrorism is only an eyewash. Our country must now take concrete action on the lines of U.S. and Israel. Otherwise there can be no end to such inhuman, atrocious activities from across the borders.

I am sitting in the comfort of my home but trust me, I have tears in my eyes and deep anger against the brutal killing of our "Martyrs". What kind of a nation we are?? Wake up India!! Pakistan cannot be our friends. They don't deserve to be either. They are enemies and should be treated like that only.

As you have seen in the interview of the Arnab Goswami in Times now chanel with Pakistani official, they will never agree for there crime and back they are saying what Indians did in 1940s. It was not the LoC issue, it was the communal attack I feel. The pakistan only intension is to break the LOC and get the Indian border line short. They have already taken half of the J&K. Also, when he asked that Pakistan is brother country in the interview they never agreed for that statment.

We sitting here feel sad for the soldiers giving there life for the country and there parents loosing there childern.

Different people have different openion.... I totaly do not agree with the matches going between these two countrys. .. When the soldiers loosing there life and there parents crying for them... there neibours watching matches and enjoying with parties... Wat an political India...

    People,

Pakistan exists only because religion and anti Indian feelings.

If not there is no purpose of it being in existance.

China and some gulf countries support it for above mentioned reasons...

We need one more action like in December 1971 to tame it further and make it of no conseqances to the world except for Afghanistan...

Well done P.P Hegde, hats off.
India is revisited by gutsy brave Lal Bahadur Shstri or Indira Gandhi who can put Pakistan in place.

NDA & UPA are two faces of the same coin having no spine to stand up firmly against stage sponsored terrorism of Pakistan.

Political parleys are meant for civil people conducive to ethics of compatibility with neighbors. Pakistan is by product of fanatic fatalistic fundamentalist Muslim hatred therefore continues to stay put on course of home made tormenting treacherous terrorism to survive
