Father Accused of Raping Daughter, Beaten up by Public

Chikmagalur, Jan 10 (DHNS) : A person who was accused of raping his daughter, was beaten up by the public, at Kalludoddi on Wednesday morning. The man has been identified as Rahamath Ulla Khan (45).

The neighbours caught him and tied him to an electricity pole and thrashed him. They garlanded him with sandals before handing him over to the police.

It was said that the girl was raped by her father continuously for three months. She had informed it to her mother and uncle. Khan was missing from house for the last few months. He had returned home recently and continue to harass the minor daughter.

A case has been registered in Chikmagalur rural police station. The accused was produced before the court on Wednesday and the girl has been admitted to the district hospital for medical examination.

Same like this (talking about rape), a minister had committed a rape and was very well known to all in Karnataka.
Why the people of Karnataka did not catch that minister and tie him to a pole, thrash him and garland him with "chappals"!!!???

Those have power\money to burn and political clout can do anything and get away and the so called cultured people praise them and run after them.

Here lot of people talk many things, it is is of no use at all.

Other day some other person from another religion did the same, but BDs,RSs, RSS big brother of the other two and BJP did not do anything. Do they see such acts only from others? Where is their culture at this time. Why did not they beat up that father of that hindu girl.

@Roshan Braganza: Please don't give some justifications for such kind of acts, like Incest stories. It's one of the easy money making business in internet. Regarding Mutual Consensus, I don't think Minor Girl (Daughter) had invited her Father, to have sex with her. Definitely, he had forced her & raped her. All Women are not bad as you think. They play important role in Family upbringing. We, Men should have control. I too endorse LIDYA LOBO's comments because it pains them whenever such kind of acts happens on women.

Rape is a sin and it is not confined to any particular community, race or religion by singling out and ridiculing one community and ignoring the dark side of their own communities just shows to how low can some people stoop to.

Rape takes places in each and every country in the world and though the crime in punishable by death in some countries there are people who commit rape and end by beheaded.

India is no different and based on the number of rape cases reported last year, a rape takes place in India every 20 minutes, and the worst stats are most rapes go unreported. In New Delhi alone there was over 700 reported rapes, but only 1 person was convicted and sentenced. Though it is desirable that rape never ever takes place, it is wishful thinking and the only way out is to educate people

    - Men should first genuinely respect woman unconditionally.
-Strong laws should be enacted to protect woman, and those guilty should be punished effectively and promptly.
-All women should be encouraged to report rape, but at the same time men should not be made easy targets by woman who is trying to exploit the system.
-Fast and corrupt free Police and Judicial system.
-Woman and men should both dress modestly.
-Society should pay a responsible role when they see a woman harassed on the street.

you say, peaple have no bussiness to poke into somebody elses life , and should be booked under goonda act. Some peaple are not socially conditioned and have their own views and morals , so as the above man what do you mean! you might understand that man's morale! As long as he is not abusing anybody (as he has done to his daughter), let him live up to his moral. Here definitely the girl's plea is reached the society, which has responded accordingly as in surathkal rickshaw driver case. enough is enough. Women should not keep quite and suffer because of men's abuses which they name it as moral.

Some of the recent rape cases are, first it was the Mumbai businessman Kishore Chauhan, who was arrested a few weeks back for raping his two young daughters.
Amritsar BJP leader Ashok Taneja had been arrested following a complaint from his 20-year-old daughter that her father had been raping her for eight years. Yes, eight years. Where is RSS ideology? Did it happen in India or Bharat?
Next, Radheshyam Shiv of Hingna (near Nagpur) has been arrested for allegedly raping his eldest daughter, who is 15-years-old.
One more Indian dad has allegedly raped his young daughter. According to this DNA story, the latest incident happened in Falipta village, near Phillaur in North India.
Yet another Indian dad has been nabbed for allegedly raping his daughter. This time the helpless girl was four-years-old. And it happened in India’s capital Delhi.
One more case of rape of a young girl, allegedly by the 11-year-old victim’s father, has come to light in Mumbai.
These are few of the thousand incidents occurring in different parts of India and majority of them were not Muslims.
In the above recent five incidents, none of those fathers who raped their daughter were Muslim and this had come in the BBC news.
So Mr. Nagesh, don’t point your finger at one community. Mind you, in the bargain your another three fingers are pointing at you.

Your lecture is least expected on what business is whose especially when a rape of a daughter by the father is concerned. So far women have been being crushed - there is nothing left for you to do now.

You have done enough damage by supporting rapists and by saying that physical relationship with an abducted teenager by multiple men as consensual. Rapes have happened on a sly so will be the crushing.

Mind you, you will not have a chance to defend those whose treasure got crushed as innocents because surely they will not come to you help with their pulp. This is so because to such men, their self respect is much precious than that of their daughters' modesty !

    @ Vishal, Mangalore/Bangalore,

You have a good point to make, But i dont agree with one of your opinions, about Chemical Castration.

I think , Need of the hour is We must enforce strict law of Chemical Castration, Because,

    a) This can safe guard other innocent girls getting raped by the same rapists,
    b) Fear of sever punishment, The rape rate keep increasing due to lack of fear about punishment hence when the public gets the real fear of punishment, the crime rate defiantly will come down. LET me give u an example: in coastal areas you see fishermen people drying the fish and they keep ONE DEAD Crow near the fish, you know why ? because other crows will not come closer to eat the fish, coz they fear about the dead crow and think same will happen to it as well, Hence it has got the fear of punishment and will not touch the Fish. (this works u too can try it out)
    c) Our girls can roam fearless
    d) about rapists wife getting furnished, I think she will be more than happy that justice is deliverd to the culprit, and in the event of se*ual satisfaction, court allows her to apply for divorce is she is not happy with se*ual relationship with her husband. And hence the She can apply for divorce as well. it is better to reconsider the relationship than spending life with such idiots..

Hence Justice can be given in this way to everyone, and Crime rate can be reduced drastically. The Need of the Hour is Bringing FEAR OF PUNISHMENT to the Public....

Following are the suggestions for kind consideration of the committee headed by Justice J.S. Verma regarding ensuring safety and security to woman 1. Only proper marriage contracted by free will of man and woman should be recognised as legally permitted form of legal sexual intimacy. All sex outside marriage including live-in-relationship should be d illegal and punishable.
    2. There should be provision for capital punishment for heinous crimes such as rape. These punishments should be given in public and there should be opportunity for people to witness the same so that it might act as deterrent to such heinous crimes.
    3. Co-Education should be abolished and proper education facilities meant for only women only should be available at all level of education.
    4. Educational institutions should prescribe sober and dignified dress for girls.
    5. Services of religious institutions and religious leaders should be sought to reform society, inculcate moral values and awareness against crimes especially in the new generation.
    6. Proper transport facilities for woman which proper safety measures be made available particularly in the town and cities.
    7. Marriage should be made easy and it should be encouraged to have timely marriage, all forms of dowry be abolished and all unnecessary expenditures be curbed and made punishable.
    8. The electronic and print media, TV programmes, Films and advertisements should avoid in proper exposure of woman and it should be made punishable.
    9. The alcohol is in the root of all evils and crimes particularly against women it should be completely banned in the whole country.
    10. The criminal laws in this regard should be made more stringent, the judicial procedure be simplified and made faster.
    11. The police reforms should be implemented soon and especially the complaints of not lodging FIRs or delaying of FIRs are made punishable offence.

In India, Trend changes very fast, for e.g: During our College days, whenever a girl used to talk to a boy, all guys used to gossip about her saying she always speaks to a guy, later, we started accepting it thinking it is common now, later we started complaining saying She Never speaks to any Guy, or She Has NO Boy friend, and even up to the extent that SHE HAS ONLY ONE BOY FRIEND. Look at the Trend Changing here in a very Short Span...
So, Now everyday we are hearing about Father or Brother Raping a Daughter/ Sister, It may happen that we Accept this trend later on saying IT IS VERY COMMON NOW. A day might come when a Father think of using his daughter before her Marriage, and Society might accept this TREND, Saying IT IS VERY VERY COMMON IN INDIA, Whats a big deal in that..

Hence, I urge, This is the time to wake up for all the people like us, and condemn this brutal unhuman act, And STOP THIS TREND, BEFORE EVERY ONE START ACCEPTING IT... LET US ALL FIGHT TO STOP THIS TREND...

It is very difficult to prove a 'rape' in the court of law. So, the accused is always gets encouraged and not bothered about the consequences.

There is a danger that women use it as a tool to settle scores for sure. So, there is a serious risk of innocent being punished if the barbarian law in introduced for rapes.

The serious punishment of chemical castration is not advisable as the rapists wife will get punished in the process.

So, it is like a catch 22 situation.

Females should therefore, take care of their own selves in every sense. Ideally, they should always carry pepper spray. But ladies please don't leave the criminals half alive. If so, they will simply kill you as happened in Delhi rape case. Either kill them fully or plead for mercy.

There is serious need for the women to be united.

What is most important is law enforcing agencies should be honest and serious in filing cases. Who will educate and encourage and make them accountable?

Shame on the Father raping his own daughter when his wife is alive. Severe punishment to be given to him. Feel very sad for his daughter who lost her future dreams.

There is a method of taming male buffaloes - by crushing their testicles. I am ashamed to say this publicly that a day will come that women in the family will muster courage and do the treatment to men like one in this news.

"Men are the managers of the affairs of women for that God has preferred in bounty one of them over another, and for that they have expended of their property. Righteous women are therefore obedient, guarding the secret for God's guarding. And those you fear may be rebellious admonish banish them to their couches, and beat them. If they then obey you, look not for any way against them

Here a man is rebellious and sexual pervert. Admonish banish him to his couches and beat him.

    Wrong doers deserve punishment.
But we have landed up in new barbarian era of public taking law into their own hands!
In this type of situation, hooligans will have upper hand to frame somebody and to thrash & kill.
However wrong done by BIG shots, will be tolerated, nobody will touch them for the fear of repercussions.

Our law is very liberal to rapists, criminals and corrupt and hence people are forced to take law into their own hands. Hope the government wakes up now and enact strict laws starting with torture and hanging those involved in Delhi gang rape. Rape is common now and if we don't have strict laws, then society will be in deep shit.
