Dubai, Jan 13: The next KEL event in Dubai will feature Faizal Kottikollon, Founder and Chairman of The KEF Company as the Key Note Speaker.

Faizal Kottikollon

Faizal Kottikollonis a visionary industrialist and philanthropist, widely respected for his business acumen and compassion for humanity. Faizal who started with a steel scrap trading business in the UAE in 1995, established Emirates Techno Castling LLC, a foundry manufacturing high end valves used in the oil and gas industry in the year 1997 with an initial investment of $1M and dreamt to be one of the best companies in the world in the manufacture of valves. In 2008, Dubai International Capital, acquired 45 percent equity in this company for Dh 465M which helped him with his expansion.  Tyco International, a $20B global conglomerate valued this company at $400M in 2011 and acquired 75 percent of the equity.

Join KEL session to listen to this amazing success story and how he is utilizing the rewards that he reaped with his success in promoting health care and education in India. He has taken over a 114 year old government school in Calicut which was in a very bad shape and has decided to improve its infrastructure and upgrade it on all fronts including re-training of its teacher. 

The KEF Company is investing in a number of state-of-the-art projects including establishing an International school in Dubai, Business School in Bangalore, a 500 bedspecialty hospital in Kozhikode and world class Hotel Resort and Spa in Mangalore and Kozhikode.

Guest Speaker for the day is Prashant Gulati, Trustee – TiE Global & Past President, TiE Dubai

Gulati is a serial entrepreneur, angel investor, mentor, idea accelerator and writer with interests in innovation, startups, entrepreneurship, technology, mobility, wireless, intelligent buildings, online media etc.  In addition to his leadership positions with TiE, he is the CEO of Optimistix Ventures and Founder of Smart Start Fund.

Gulati will speak on the role of TiE in promoting entrepreneurs.
