Karkala: Newborn Male Found Abandoned, Attempt to Kill Suspected

Karkala, Jan 14: A newborn male baby was found at Parpale hill here on Sunday January 13.

The baby was noticed by locals who heard its cries. They found the baby under a tree near Krishnagiri road.

It is suspected that the baby was abandoned soon after its birth, as the naval cord was stained with blood.

The baby was born after a full term of preganancy, it is said. It weighed 2.3 kg, with wheatish complexion. There were minor injury marks found on the neck and head. There was blood near the mouth.

As baby was finding it hard to breathe, and because there were injury marks on the neck and head, it is suspected that those who abandoned the baby might have tried to strangle it.

The baby was shifted to Wenlock hospital in Mangalore.

The locals said that they had seen a woman arrive at the spot in an auto rickshaw. They surmised that she might have thrown the baby from the rickshaw, causing injury on the baby's head.

    Its painful to read such horror stories.. Poor baby.. I think the baby was safer in the womb..
    There are so many couples desperately praying for a child and this inhuman mother abandons the child.. Sad..
    My best friend does not have a child.. When I see him and his wife have little moment of happiness with my little daughter my heart weeps and questions God why they are not blessed yet.. We all just pray that God bless them..
    The adoption process is also not so easy.. I wish there was some method where we could adopt easily but with proper records.. Now if we call any adoption agency they say it will take 3 years..Long time.. Please let me know if you know of any genuine agency which helps.

    It is very sad to hear.Anyway they throw this little angel near PARPALE,and they dont know the history of this place.I am sure St Lawrence will not let to die this baby,due to his grace,baby is alive.This baby surely become wellknown person in society,because the name PARPALE.(St. Lawrence)God bless this baby.

    So sad to read this news. Poor child suffering without a Mother and Father..such a cruel act...God will never forgive such people. There are so many people do not have children...I pray that this child will be taken care at the orphanage and find good parents who will take care as their own.

    When my wife is pregenent she has very ill & doctor has advised us to terminate the baby to save the mother, we both cried and cried day and night. We both praying when ever we got spare time. God has listened our prayer and gifted us a baby boy. But these cruel hearted people does't even no what is child means, ask the people who do not have a child.

    I was fathered only after 4 years of my marriage. Daily we were praying god to grant me a child. But now i am very happy with 2 cute kids. Like me, many others are there.
    But whenever I read these news, my blood starts boiling...Why the god give child to those who cannot bear the children?

    So Sorry for child what is the mistake of this kid dear parants do not do this evil act with your own child if you cannot take care or you don not want please hand over to orfhanage or any hospital.there are many families are praying to get child. it is always a gretast blessing from lord. do not miss it every child is important to him. dear parents begging you all don't do it.dear brothers and sisters, please pray for these evel actors not do satan act protect them from evil spirit. one pray can save so many sins amen may god bless you all
