Mumbai Hotelier Sudhakar Shetty Dies of Heart Attack on Flight

Mangalore, Jan 17 : 79-year-old Nitte Sudhakar Shetty, a Mumbai-based hotelier died of a massive heart attack while aboard a Mangalore-Mumbai flight on Wednesday January 16.

Shetty, who owned two hotels in Mumbai and Lonawala, was travelling by Spice Jet flight. More details of the incident are awaited.

Shetty who leaves behind his wife and two sons, served the Indian Navy for 10 years before taking voluntary retirement.

He was actively involved in social service and was part of cultural organisations. He served as the president of Mumbai Bunts Sangha and Hotel Owners' Association.

MR.N.Sudhakar Shetty was my Employer.he was a Gem of person. helped a lot to the community, GURUKRIPA,GURUDEV,& MADIRA was his best hotels in Parel Mumbai.In late 80s it was the only bus which was leaving from Hotel Swagath,Karkala to Mumbai was SHANKAR Travels, which was very famous.As a President of Bunts Sangha Mumbai,he worked very hard for needy,(R.I.P.)     YOU ARE RIGHT WATER IS NOT ALLOWED .

    BUT MYSELF USED TO TAKE WATER ( I AM NOT A SENIOR CITIZEN )INSIDE THE FLIGHT.

    I HAD BEEN TO DELHI RECENTLY.

    EACH TIME SECURITY GAURD KEPT ASIDE MY WATER BOTTLE DURING CHECKING PROCESS.

    I USED TO TELL THEM WATER IS BOILED ONE FROM HOUSE ( I PREFER BOILED WATER ) & HE WILL TELL ME TO DRINK A SIP INFRONT OF THEM.

    AFTER THAT THEY ALLOW .

    SOMETIMES BOTTLE WATER ALSO BECOME ALLERGIC TO SOME BODY.

    WE USED TO BOIL A WATER FOR MINIMUM OF TWENTY MINUTES FOR DRINKING PURPOSE.
