Kundapur: Adiga Murder Case - Three More Accused Produced in Court

Kundapur, Jan 19: The police on Saturday January 19 produced three more persons accused in the murder case of RTI activist Vasudeva Adiga in court.

They have been identified as Mohan Udupa (25), Subramanya Udupa (45), and Ravichandra (25). All three have been remanded in police custody till January 24.

Subramanya Udupa is the brother-in-law of Ramesh Bayari, another suspect in the case who is still said to be absconding. Bayari was involved in a land dispute with Adiga, and it is suspected by the police that he had used Udupa to hire contract killers and pay them Rs 25 lac to finish Adiga.

Subramanya Udupa is an astrologer by profession and is based in Bangalore.

Before being produced in court, the three were taken to Kundapur government hospital for a checkup.

On Friday January 18, three other accused - Naveen, Umesh and Raghavendra were produced in the court and remanded in police custody till January 24.

Adiga was allegedly kidnapped on January 7 near Goliangadi, and five days later his body was found in a pond at Kadur in Chikmagalur.

    Sowjanya was found raped and brutally murdered as a opposition party CONGRESS PARTY ROLE EVERY ONE AWARE... WHY SILENT ? WHY NOT DEMANDED CBI ..But why front runner in homestay attack ? why silent in this Sowjanya and Adiga case ??? why not pressed CBI... ??? why not met governer ??? is any hidden agenda ???

    I request Mr. Jeevan of Mangalore to meet Mr. Adiga's mother in Vandar village and understand what they are. Please do not make fun of poor and unlucky family who lost their son in old age who fought agianst corruption for public.
