Kasargod: Two women arrested for duping Hyderabad doctor of Rs 5 lac

Kasargod, Jan 20: Two women have been arrested for looting Rs 5 lac from a doctor in Hyderabad.

The arrested are identified as Rayana Kasim (27) and her mother Suhara (42).

They have been accused of fleecing Rs 5 lac from Dr Shabi Reddy six months ago. Both mother and daughter had been absconding until now, sources said.

Police with the help of cyber cell arrested the accused in Vidyanagar on Saturday January 19. They have been handed over to Hyderabad police.

Police sources said that the arrested were earlier involved in several cases and complaints have been filed against them in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.

The police caught the duo with the help of mobile phone trackers.
