Udupi, Jan 24: "The end of BJP was predicted even during Indira Gandhi's rule, but it did not happen. I am not interested in commenting on their (BJP rebels) statement. The statement given by Nehru Olekar about BJP's end is like an ant shouting at an elephant," said BJP state president, state deputy chief minister K S Eshwarappa.

He was addressing mediapersons during his visit to Brahmavar on Wednesday January 23.

"The chief minister informed me about the resignations of Shobha Karandlaje and C M Udasi. I will discuss the matter over phone and decision will be taken," he said.

"People for a long time have been giving warnings to the BJP government that they will bring it down, but that day has not come yet and they have not been able to do anything. BJP government will definitely not fall and will finish its entire term," he added.

When asked about speaker K G Bopaiah whose sudden departure to Nepal was seen by the rebels as a conspiracy by BJP to stall their resignations, he declined to comment and said, "I do not have time to comment on such matters."

On MLA Hartal Halappa's demand that Eshwarappa should resign following corruption charges against him, he laughed off the issue and said, "Halappa was confused. Instead of naming Yeddyurappa he took my name,"

He said a meeting will be arranged with central BJP leaders and soon a new state president will be appointed.

After addressing the media, he offered special puja at Om Shree Mahashakti Brahmakaara Swaroopini Aadi Maasthambika temple where various religious celebrations like Shikara Kumbabhisheka, Punar Prathiste, Chandikahavana, Brahmakalashabisheka are being held between January 22 and 24.

MLA Raghupathi Bhat, Uday Kumar Shetty, Udupi district BJP president, Nadoja G Shankar of G Shankar Family Trust, Bhujanga Shetty, former zilla panchayat president, Birthi Rajesh, zilla panchayat member Mallika Balakrishna, S Narayan, Raghupathi Brahmavar, Suprasada Shetty among others were present.

Some bad mice are running out of a sinking ship and the ship will recover with good guys and lift the nation. Selfish BSY is not a disciplined soldier and he has let down all his supporters. Also spoiled the image of disciplined BJP. BJP will emerge more stronger with the leaders like Narendra Modi.

When the elephant goes wild best method is to use the tranquilizer and sometime depends how wild it is. Low dose or high dose but high dose sometime the results are otherwise!.

Eshwarappa behaving like a brave captain of a sinking ship. He and his party will be soon dumped in history books. It is only at Karnataka people are fools and they follow people like Eshwarappa. There are more Hindu and Muslims in Utter Pradesh and the BJP there vanished and soon it will disappear. The people in UP are more peaceful without BJP and its alliances. Only in Karnataka we have this drama party who makes free drama every day.

Eeshwarappa's is not having proper knowledge about his own party. There was no party called BJP during Sreemathi Indira Gandhis time. Rest is self explanatory. Only developments can survive in todays modern India.
