Mangalore: Passengers asked to reach Airport early on Feb 3

Mangalore, Jan 30: As RSS will be organizing a programme on February 3 at Kenjar, wherein around a lac people are expected to participate, passengers are requested to reach the airport early to avoid heavy traffic, said airport director GT Radhakrishna and police officials.

There are chances that the traffic may get chocked after 10 am, said the director.

Passengers flying between 12 pm to 8 pm (12:05 Jet Airways – Bangalore, 12:55 Air India – Mumbai, 2:45 Jet Airways – Mumbai, 3:15 Spice Jet – Mumbai; 3:15 Spice Jet – Hyderabad, 5:15 Air India – Bangalore, night 7:45 Jet Airways – Bangalore, 8:00 Jet Airways – Dubai) are requested to leave their homes well in advance to avoid last minute rush.

Now we are discussing about RSS.Airport passengers are facing problems because of improper arraqngements... Had RSS conducted event in Central Maidan, many here would have poured comments of disturbing traffic movements. Now, RSS has moved its event to a remote area & in a paddy field, & these people start making hue & cry of of difficulty to catch flight. Passengers boarding in Mangalore should worry & not these Pseudos here. The hidden conspiracy of Congress can be easily understood here. When Airport Authorities have made announcments of the problems clearly, it is appropriate for passengers to reach earlier & the Police officials should conduct adequate arrangement so that traffic movement is not hampered.

RSS is a patriotic organisation & was recognised by Nehru. It was invited to participate in Republic Day Parade in 1963. But our recent Congress Leaders like Shinde find fault in RSS.

All the best to RSS for its function in Kenjar Village. Jain Hind...

When the relatives of the victims gathered at the residence of PM they had to take such decision in order to save innocent indians. In this case NDA govt took a wise decision by saving innocent indians, but what about your Maharastra Congress govt who didnt take any action even after getting intelligence report about 26/11 attack in advance??

An organization is only as good as its members conduct in their day to day life in society, whatever motto their founders intended.
Anybody remember in 1992 a huge rally was held in Mangalore. When coming back to Puttur & Sullia side the 'Ganveshadaris' blocked NH 48 near Panemangalore from evening to midnight the only bridge linking built by British which was narrow, causing huge block preventing others going towards Mangalore.
Though those moving towards Mangalore had entered the bridge first they came swinging their latis & chasing them back, Police were mute spectators with huge numbers of socalled disciplined 'Swayamsevaks' showing mobocracy.
As far as I know the NCC cadets show more discipline & uniform marching abilities with Patriotism than this lot, of which I was a part of till my college days.
Yeddy had his origins & we have seen to what level he misused his power. If the principles are not implimented that have been taught, then the organization has failed in its mission.
In Ayodhya it had either failed or conspired to bring down the disputed structure without giving respect to the Law of the Land.
The organization supported British & opposed Gandhi's Quit India Movement, finally killing him.
We have enough NGO's doing better service without holding latis or propaganda.
Hope better sense prevails.

Field Marshal Cariappa in his speech to RSS volunteers said “RSS is my heart’s work. My dear young men, don’t be disturbed by uncharitable comments of interested persons. Look ahead! Go ahead! The country is standing in need of your services”

Role during the 1962 Sino-Indian War

The RSS which had been keeping low profile after the lifting of the ban, earned recognition based on its volunteer work during the Sino-Indian War in 1962. RSS was invited by Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru to take part in the Indian Republic day parade of 1963. It along with several other civilian organizations took part in the parade. This event helped the RSS increase its popularity and its patriotic image.

Later in 1965 and 1971 Indo-Pak wars too, the RSS volunteers offered their services to maintain law and order of the country and were apparently the first to donate blood.

Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar while visiting the RSS camp at Pune in 1939 observed that Swayamsevaks were moving in absolute equality and brotherhood without even caring to know the cast of others. In his address to the Swayamsevaks, he said that ” This is the first time that I am visiting the camp of Sangh volunters. I am happy to find absolute equality between Savarniyas (Upper cast) and Harijans (Lower cast) without any one being aware of such difference existing.” When he asked Dr Hedgewar whether there were any untouchables in the camp, he replied that there are neither “touchables” nor “untouchables” but only Hindus.

With RSS uniform,you cant think of flying,the dress code is only for rallies.So they dont care if the traffic is affected because most of them never seen out of Mangalore.Most of them are scared of Flying and many of them do not go to cities like Mumbai.

Informing well in advance is a good thought. But people can come at the most 3-4 hours early not coming and waiting at the airport whole day because of this program. It may be lot of inconvenience for the people who are travelling if the traffic jam for a long time. It will cause lot of disturbance in that area because Airport reaching well on time is very important.

Thanks to the Air port authorities and police officials for their advance information.
Other organizations also conduct several programmes without causing disturbance to the general public.
But why all these blocks, chokes and attacks whenever there is RSS programes.

2 years back our congress people used to to RALLY/JATHA in Bangalore roads. Due to which many people had missed the flights to various national and international destinations.

For Urban passenger this information is somehow enough how about rural passengers or public?
Only the victims know how difficulty the situation is...!!!
