Mangalore: Former Mayor Rajani Dugganna injured in accident

Mangalore, Jan 30: Former mayor Rajani Dugganna’s car met with an accident here on Wednesday January 30.
The accident occured when a fish lorry (KA 19 C 1665) plying from Mangalore to Mukka hit Rajani's Ritz car near Mahadev marble at Hosabettu, Kulai.
It is said Congress rally (padayatra) was passing by at the spot. When the driver of the car turned the vehicle to avoid the rally, the fish lorry hit the car from behind.
Sources said that she sustained head injuries and is now undergoing treatment at AJ Hospital. The driver of the car is said to have escaped unhurt.
Hospital sources told daijiworld that Rajani Dugganna sustained injuries on her head and chest, but the injuries are minor.
