Kundapur: BJP welcomes B M Sukumar Shetty – hopes to offset imbalance

Kundapur, Feb 2: The BJP camp in the taluk, which has been beleaguered after its four time-MLA, Halady Srinivas Shetty, quit the party citing betrayal by party leaders, is hopeful of reclaiming lost ground with the induction of Congress leader and former managing trustee of Kollur Goddess Mookambika Temple, B M Sukumar Shetty.

At a simple function held on Friday Febrary 1, Udupi district BJP president, Udayakumar Shetty, officially welcomed Sukumar Shetty into the party by handing over the party flag. He said Sukumar Shetty was an additional feather in BJP’s cap.

Byndoor MLA, K Laxminarayan, said that admission of Shetty into the party was a shot in the arm for the party, and that the party hopes to strengthen its base in the region with his help.

BJP block committee general secretary, Sadhashiva D, Prof A P Mittantaya, party leaders, workers and supporters of Sukumar Shetty participated in the function.

    Welcome to BJP, I Know that you can change the whole Politics concerned to whole Kundapur taluk, and there will lot lot changes in the political system and also development concerned, i know for your kind persual party is not a matter of concern, whatever party you are in... you will be a leader coz you are a born leader and not manufactured one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Sukumar Shetty as i know is a person who can bring abt development, Kollur temple has developed under him and under his leadership only. Even educational institution he is heading has developed under him .He is a mass leader and having the ability to bring rapid development.
    Once he makes up his mind he will achive it with determination and hard work , you can see that in kollur temple, education institute he is leading, even in his industry.
    Hope he become another Modi for Karnataka like srenivas sheety been vajapee of kundapur. He is very agressive in development i am sure he can bring changes in politics and infrastructure.

    Kollur temple gone to new heights under you , let whole byndoor constituency get your service better infra, Roads and solve our peoples problems.

    NO MAN MR.SUKUMAR SHETTY ALSO GOOD LEADEMR BUT PROBLEM IS MR SHETTY BUSY IN EDUCATION REFORM AND SUKUAR SHETTY GAVE A GOOD EDUCATION FOR RURAL AREA AND ALSO HALADI EXCELLENT AND MASS LEADER I ARGEE FRIEND AND IN BAIDOOR 50-50 BETWEEN GOPAL POOJARY AND SHETTY

    Don't compare Sukumar shetty with Halady Srinivas Shetty, Halady Srinivas Shetty is a leader of masses and he has quality of understanding the pulse of people and reciprocates accordingly. Sukumar shetty is self proclaimed leader and he cannot be compared with Srinivas Shetty or Pratapchandra Shetty, This is a futile attempt by BJP a time waste,
