Udupi: Two injured as truck, matador collide head-on

Udupi, Feb 4: Two persons were injured when a Eicher truck and a matador collided head-on at Katapady on NH 66 here on Monday February 4.

The identities of the injured are yet to be ascertained.

The truck, laden with sand, was plying towards Udupi while the matador was moving from Brahmavar to Mangalore.

The impact of the collision was such that the matador overturned and the shellfish it was transporting was strewn all over the road.

Traffic was stalled for about half an hour due to the accident.

A case has been registered in the Kaup police station.
