Udupi: Three-day 'Nagamandalostava' concludes at Yellur

Udupi, Feb 5: ‘Ashta Pavithra Nagabrahma Mandolostava’ organized by Dharmapal U Devadiga, former president, Devadiga Sangha, Mumbai, and his family in collaboration with Ashta Pavithra Nagabrahma Mandolostava committee and held for three days in Padubidri Yellar village at Bangaralu Nagabana culminated on Monday February 4.

Under the guidance of Vedhamurty Bettige Venkataraj Thantri, Vedhamurthy Sagri Gopalkrishna Samaga, and Maddhooru Krishna Prasad Vaiydhya, Vedic hymns and ‘Ganapathihoma’, ‘Lakshminarayana Puja’ , ‘Ashtothara Shatha Kalasha Pradhana Yaga’, ‘Panchamrutha Abhisheka’, ‘Ashlesha Bali’, ‘Bramakalasha Abhisheka’, ‘Kalashabisheka’, ‘Pala Puja’ for other gods and goddesses, ‘Suhasini Vattu’ worship and mass meal, ‘Shkiraargya Pradhana’, and ‘Nagadarshan’ and ‘Mandal Seve’ were performed on Sunday.

On Monday, at dawn, Ahsta Pavithra Nagabrama Mandalostava was held with different religious rituals and in the evening, in the presence of retired VC Dr B S Sherigar, Sri Vidyaprasannatirtha Swamiji of Samputa Narasimhaswamy Kshetra Subramanya, Sri Vidyadheeshathirtha Swami of Udupi Palimar Math, Sri Yogananda Sarswathi Swami of Kondevooor Nithyanada Yogashrama, and Sri Esha Vittaladasa Swamiji of Kemar Sandipani Sadana Ashrama were present at the religious meet.

Thonse Jayakrishna A Shetty, founder, Jayashrikrishna Parisara Premi committee, K P Acharya, convener, Kaup Vidhyaneekthana Institutions, Udupi MLA Raghupathi Bhat, former minister Vasanth Salian, Lalaji R Mendon, and several other persons were present as chief guests.

All the Swamijis blessed the organizers and the devotees who gathered on the occasion. Thonse Jayakrishna A Shetty lauded Dharmapal Devadiga for organizing such a wonderful programme.

Asta Pavithra Nagabrama Mandalostava committee's Devdas Hebbar Kattingeri, Praful Shetty Elluru, Manjara Bettu H Krishnamurthy Bhat, Ragavendra Devadiga, and Sujatha Dharmapal were present on the dais.

Dharmapal Devadiga welcomed and felicitated all those who worked for the Nagamandolostava. Sharavathi Rao said a prayer while K L Kundanthya presented the keynote address on ‘Nagaradhane’. Vasanth Kumar Nitte compered and honorary chief secretary Ganesh Devadiga Bramagiri gave the vote of thanks.

    It was a great occasion to watch and spiritually enjoy the all the ritual essence of Asta Pavithra Nagamandalostava performed under the leadership of our great friend and cousin of mine Mrs&Mr.Dharmapal U Devadiga.It was not restricted only to Devadiga people they have involved all other community people from local,bordering villages and from other cities,Talukas,Mumbai and Pune.It was a great occasion to enjoy/cherish the essence of spirituality and seek the blessings of NagaDevta.Hope all might have sincerely/whole heartedly participitated and ejoyed this three days great events.I was lucky enough to be a part of this great memorable event.
    Three days programme was not only a Dharmik but also cultural.It was a blend of both.While thanking both Mrs & Mr.Dharmapal for organizing such a beautiful spiritual atmosphere by way of Asta Pavitra Nagamandlotsava,I alongwith my family wish all the best to them&fly members and best of luck in all their future endeavours.May Almighty God in His everlasting Mercy grant them a longlife,health,wealth,happiness,prosperity moreover bright future.May God bless them today,tomorrow and for ever.From:Shekar Moily&Fly
