Mangalore: Italians visit Gonzaga School

Mangalore, Feb 5: Rizzi Silvana, the great grand niece of the world-renowned painter Br Moscheni who had painted the famous St Aloysius college chapel; along with  Alberto Pessani, Maura Caminda and Franca Cornelli visited Gonzaga school on February 1.

Fr Leo D’souza an eminent biotechnology scientist also accompanied these visitors. Alberto Pessani while addressing the students cheered and praised the Gonzagians for being partakers in the glory of Gonzaga.

Gonzaga who was a glory for the church, Aloysius Gonzaga who was a glorious Jesuit and Gonzaga school, the glory for St Aloysius college institutions.

Students listened to Alberto’s address intently and interacted with the Italian guests with much enthusiasm. The students were not only enriched with a rich knowledge of Italy’s art and architecture, rivers, national symbols, food and dress culture but also developed friendship with the Italian visitors.
