Tamil actress Khushboo’s house attacked after comment on DMK’s Stalin

Mumbai, Feb 7 (First Post) : Tamil Nadu actress Khushboo’s house was attacked by a group of 20 men supposedly in retaliation to her comments on SMK leader Stalin.

The actress, in an interview to a Tamil magazine had said that although DMK chief M Karunanidhi had proposed Stalin’s name as his successor, a decision on the same could only be taken after a vote of the general council, since the party was a democratic one.

According to NDTV, the police have said that those who attacked her house were DMK party workers in retaliation to what she had said, but the party has denied its involvement in the attack.

Speaking to the media, Khushboo stood by her statement, saying she had not made any controversial comment.

“I have not said anything controversial. I have already contacted party chief Karunanidhi and he will investigate into the attack”, she said.
