Udupi, Feb 9: The annual parish feast of Our Lady of Health Church, Shirva was recently celebrated here.
Sermon was given by Fr Rudolf, administrator of Fr Mullar’s, Mangalore.
A procession was taken from near Syndicate Bank to the Church at 6 pm. Prayer service was held at 7 pm followed by firework display.
On Wednesday February 6, festal mass began at 10.30 am.
Fr Valerian Mendonca, chancellor of Udupi diocese was the main celebrant.
Next to the Church the idol of Our Lady of Health was kept for the devotees.
People from Shirva varado and nearby areas gathered to celebrate the feast.
