Dubai: Biennial MIT alumni meet on February 22

Dubai, Feb 12: The biennial meet of Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) alumni settled in the UAE is being organized at 3.30 pm on February 22. The venue will be the ball room of Sheraton Deira Hotel. The organizers have planned a number of activities for the MITians at the meet, which is being held with the aim of providing the MIT alumni a break from their hectic schedules and carry them back to the times they were in the MIT campus and relive the joyous time they had spent there.

The event promises to be entertaining for everyone, including the family members of MITians and their children. DJ Wendyl from Cornerstone Events and Entertainment LLC will be the DJ.

For the entertainment of kids, separate area within Al Masah ball room of Deira Sheraton Hotel will be set aside. The items on the agenda for the kids include magic show, clown, early kids meals, video show, etc. Even kid minders will be in place so that the parents of the children are able to spend a stress-free and entertainment-filled evening at the event.

Ground Zero band, which was formerly known as 13AD, will make the participants relive the memories of their student days and the rock shows. Entry for the show will be restricted to MITians, their family members, and sponsors, the organizers have informed.
