Kundapur, Feb 13: On the occasion of the golden jubilee celebration by Bhandarkar’s college, the commerce department of the college organized ‘Spardha’, a competition for sponsored colleges of Manipal Academy of general education and for other colleges of the district on Monday February 11.

Upendra Pai Memorial College of Udupi won the overall championship and second place was bagged by Purnaprajna College, Udupi.

Various other competitions were also held.

In the curtain raiser event, JCBM College, Sringeri won first place while Upendra Pai Memorial College wont the second place.

In battle of the brand event – first place was won by Poornaprajna College, Mahatma Gandhi Memorial College, Udupi secured the second place.

In Twister event – Bhuvanendra College, Karkala won first and Upendra Pai Memorial College bagged second.

In Corp champ competition, Dr BB Hegde First Grade College, Udupi won the first place.
