Dubai, Feb 13: There is double delight for all the Konkanis settled in the UAE. Another musical fiesta is planned to treat all the passionate lovers of Konkani Music. The musical maestro ‘Sangeeth Sardhar - Wilson Olivera’ is back again to double the passion and magic of Konkani music on public demand once again in UAE.

The 'Wilson Olivera Nite' will be held back-to-back sequenced first in Dubai on May 3, 2013 at Sheikh Rashid Auditorium (The India High School) and following in Abu Dhabi on 4th May 2013 at India Social and Cultural Centre, organized by Seasons Middle East FZC.

'Sangeeth Sardhar' is a name that rings a bell in the minds of all Konkani music lovers undeniably due to his mind-soothing renditions which is obviously a result of his momentous lyrics and melodious voice. Being framed as the musical heartthrob among the Konkanis all over, he very deservingly also earned the titles of ‘Konkan Manik’ and ‘Konkani Surdas’.
Followed by many other innumerous prestigious titles such as 'Konkani Kala Samaj Puraskar', 'Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy Award, and 'Divo Sahitya Puraskar', he has always been able to build a special aura in the hearts of the Konkani music audience.
Maestro Olivera’s love for music is literally indescribable. This fact is all more evident through his series of hit musical extravaganzas held at different venues across the length and breadth of India and in different regions of the Gulf. Six super hit music albums and 33 successful musical shows led by him has been hosted at Mangalore, Bangalore, Mumbai, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar. Once again the Master of Ceremony is the music maestro’s younger brother ‘Ronald Olivera’. A talented young blood and consecutive 4-time winner of International Toastmaster will add to the excitement with his entertaining skills. Bringing out more thrills to the show will be from the renowned orchestra maestro Adrian Gomes, a genius of all musical instruments who will set spark as the music director for the evening; Gomes has already proved a mark in this arena.
This double delight will do justice in every sense as there will be brand new renditions this time from Wilson Olivera and his team. The magic of the maestro’s music gets its additional strength and charm from his team of renowned singers like Rony D’Cunha, Rathan Castelino, Pradeep Pinto, Prashant Pinto, Zeena Pereira, Preema Rodrigues and Monica Valder.
Other delights for the evening are contributed by the highly popular comedy group in Konkani ‘Me-Mo-Ri’ along with famous Lavina Fernandes who has quintessentially delivered the right amount of entertainment through their outstanding humor punches, to make the Wilson Olivera Nite a different experience altogether for the Konkani crowd.
Promising more magic to the show will be the exquisite dance troupe ‘Ocean Kids’ led by creative choreographer Vinod Sequeira.
