Bantwal: Bishop inaugurates Stations of the Cross statues at Bambil church

Bantwal, Feb 14: To mark the year of faith, Stations of the Cross statues were installed at St John Marie Vianney Church, Bambil which was inaugurated by Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of Mangalore diocese on Wednesday February 13.

The Bishop blessed the Stations of Cross and preached word of god.

The inauguration was followed by reciting the Stations of the Cross wherein hundreds of devotees participated. The way of cross was conducted by Fr Andrew D’Souza, parish priest of Bondel church.































Adoration was also held to thank God for all his blessings showered on the parishioners.

At the end a formal stage programme was held wherein Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Fr Stany Monteiro, parish priest and guest of honor Raymond D’Souza shared the dais.

On the occasion, Fr Stany Monteiro honored all the donors of the newly built Stations of the Cross.

The stage programme was compered by Francis D’Sa while Feliz Rodrigues delivered the vote thanks.

    This is my church and it is glad to hear about this during the lentern season, our church priest is doing a very good job to increase faith of the parishners and grant him good health as well as happiness for the coming years I pray that our parish must develop as a pilgrimage center.This is quotation for our church priest-What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.
